Marc Hannah

Marc Hannah was born on October 13th,1956 in Chicago, Illinois. Hannah graduated with a B.S degree in electrical engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology, then went to Stanford University for a M.S and PhD.
Notably, Hannah founded Silicon Graphics, Inc. Hannah contributed to development of computer graphics (3D mainly) and visual stimulations like IRIS, Indigo, Indigo2, and Indy Graphics. Overall, Hannah's work elevated the quality of entertainment.
Hannah was also awarded a Professional Achievement Award by the Illinois Institute of Technology and the National Technical Association, a Kilby International Young Innovator award, and a Black Engineer of the Year Technical Contribution Award. Fascinatingly, Marc Hannah revolutionized the entertainment industry along with his professor, Jim Clark, while in college.
